JET

The JET is a summer jacket designed with extended mesh panels for excellent cooling performance! It is ideal for the city riders as well as for those who like short motorcycle tours. Thanks to its large ventilation panels it provides a high level of airflow, guaranteeing maximum ventilation even on the hottest days. This model is equipped with a removable wind- and waterproof NextDry™ membrane for inner or outer use. In case of rain or cold wind, the NextDry™ membrane can also be applied on the top. Featuring the CE Level 2 Certified Protection System, it provides increased safety, further enhanced by abrasion-resistant fabric that strengthens elbow and arm areas. You can fit this jacket perfectly with SHIMA jeans or specially designed highly ventilated JET pants from the same series. Thanks to two different connecting zippers, the jacket can be easily attached to the pants of your choice. Discreetly placed reflective panels ensure that you will be noticed even on days with reduced visibility.

When it gets really hot, riding a motorbike can be exhausting. Unless you're wearing well-ventilated clothing. The JET jacket has been constructed with generous mesh panels on the front, back and inside the sleeves to provide free ventilation. This allows you to stay comfortable even on the hottest of days. Sewn with double reinforced safety seams, the JET jacket provides both durability and lightness.

Waterproof

The jacket features a NextDry™ waterproof membrane, which can be either inner or outer depending on your needs. With a microporous, breathable construction, the NextDry™ membrane is waterproof and windproof to ensure that no weather catches you by surprise. Developed by SHIMA in collaboration with a leading textile manufacturer and designed specifically for motorcyclists, NextDry™ allows your skin to breathe while keeping you dry and comfortable, allowing you to focus completely on the road.

Enhanced protection

The JET is equipped with CE LEVEL 2 certified protective armour and the kit includes class-leading back, shoulder and elbow protectors for increased safety and confidence. You can also extend the level of protection with an optional SAS-TEC chest protector. What's more, the jacket has been reinforced with extra thick fabric on the shoulders and elbows to increase resistance to tears and abrasion.
