The 6 Year Warranty Program extends the standard basic product warranty with additional years of coverage – bringing the total warranty for a Shima product to 6 years. During the basic warranty period, you will need to contact the store where the product was purchased to file a claim. After the expiration of the basic warranty, we will give you the opportunity to benefit from additional years of product warranty – in which case the complaint should be submitted through our form, which will be available in your customer account.
Registering a product in the 6 Year Warranty program is very easy. All you need to do is create an account and fill out the product registration form.
The product during the basic warranty, the complaint should be reported directly to the store where it was purchased.
Once the basic warranty has expired, a claim can be made via a special form available in the customer account, which must be set up before registering the product for the 6 Year Warranty program.
The warranty covers physical defects caused by the fault of the manufacturer, provided that the product was used for its intended purpose. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage, natural wear and tear, overt defects visible on the day of purchase, damage resulting from improper maintenance, improper fit of the product to the body shape or user preferences, and membranes that naturally lose their properties over time.

Yes. When filing a claim, attaching the proof of purchase in the claim form is mandatory. You can also attach it at the stage of submitting the product to the 6 Years Warranty program in the form, which will facilitate the claim process later.

The extended warranty is assigned to the account of the customer who submitted the product for the 6 Year Warranty program. Another user will not be able to fill out the claim form, which is available in the customer account.
The certificate will be sent to the email address assigned to the user’s account that submitted the product for the 6 Year Warranty program via the submission form included in the customer account. According to the regulations, we have 30 days to verify the application and respond. As a rule, we do it faster. However, there are a lot of submissions and we are not able to respond to all of them immediately.
