G2 System – One Jacket, Total Freedom

The DUNE 2.0 G2 was designed with changing weather conditions and long-distance travel in mind. It is a 3-layer jacket equipped with the innovative G2 System, which allows you to quickly adjust the configuration to current weather conditions. The set includes the waterproof In&Out FlexDry™ G2 membrane and the HeatCore™ G2 insulated liner; both are fastened together and to the main jacket using main zippers. This ensures the layers remain stable while riding, do not shift, and form a cohesive structure. Both layers can also be used off the motorcycle as standalone lifestyle jackets. The greatest advantage of the G2 System is its compatibility with other SHIMA jackets equipped with the same system. The membrane and insulation can be used across different models to build your own modular motorcycle system.

Ventilation and Comfort

The DUNE 2.0 G2 was designed with long journeys in mind, which is why a strong emphasis was placed on comfort and adjustability. Effective air circulation is ensured by the advanced H3 Pro system, which includes large ventilation panels on the chest and back, as well as additional air intakes on the forearms. As a result, the jacket allows you to effectively regulate your body temperature even when riding on hot days. Comfort is enhanced by numerous adjustment options at the waist, hips, chest, shoulders, forearms, and wrists, as well as stretch panels under the arms and on the back, and a soft neoprene collar trim. The design is complemented by practical features such as the Night Vision System, waterproof pockets, a cargo pocket, a card pocket, and a large glove pocket on the back. When paired with the matching DUNE 2.0 G2 pants, the jacket creates a complete touring outfit for longer trips.

Safety on Long Trips

This model is AA-certified and features a set of G-FLEXX Level 2 protectors on the shoulders, elbows, and back. Protection is further enhanced by the DuoLayer Protection™ system on the shoulders and elbows, as well as durable Ripstop fabric, which reduces the risk of tearing in the event of a fall.
