G2 System – one jacket, complete freedom

The DUNE 2.0 G2 was designed for changing weather conditions and long-distance journeys. It is a 3-layer jacket featuring the innovative G2 System, which allows you to quickly adjust its configuration to current weather conditions. The set includes the waterproof In&Out FlexDry™ G2 membrane and an insulating layer – the HeatCore™ G2 jacket – both connected to each other and to the outer jacket using the main zippers. This keeps the layers securely in place while riding, preventing them from shifting and creating one integrated construction. Both layers can also be worn off the bike as standalone lifestyle jackets. The greatest advantage of the G2 System is its compatibility with other SHIMA jackets equipped with the same system. The membrane and insulation can be used across different models, allowing you to build your own modular motorcycle gear system.

Ventilation and comfort

The DUNE 2.0 G2 was created with long-distance travel in mind, with a strong focus on comfort and adjustability. Efficient airflow is provided by the advanced H3 Pro system, featuring large ventilation panels on the chest and back, as well as additional air vents on the forearms. This allows the jacket to effectively regulate temperature even when riding on hot days. Comfort is further enhanced by multiple adjustment points at the waist, hips, chest, arms, forearms and wrists, stretch panels under the arms and on the back, and a soft neoprene collar finish. Practical features complete the design, including the Night Vision System, waterproof pockets, a cargo pocket and card pocket, as well as a large glove pocket located on the back. For riders looking for a complete touring setup, the DUNE 2.0 G2 jacket can be paired with dedicated touring pants of the same name.

Safety for long-distance adventures

The jacket is AA certified and comes equipped with a complete set of G-FLEXX Level 2 protectors on the shoulders, elbows and back. Protection is further enhanced by the DuoLayer Protection™ system applied to the shoulders and elbows, as well as durable Ripstop fabric technology, which helps reduce the risk of tearing in the event of a fall.
